Ryka George of The Mothering Way is quoted in the July 2007 issue of Parent:Wise Austin Magazine article by Kim Pleticha, "Reaching Out to Military Mamas", which gives an overview of the Operation Special Delivery program that provides labor assistance doulas to military wives whose husbands are unable to attend their labor and delivery due to deployment or other special circumstances.
